OptinMonster New Feature: Smart Tags

Ever wondered what can you do with your e-commerce business? How to be a head of the e-commerce competition? How to grow your sales or visitors just like your competitors do? 

I follow those e-commerce businesses and try to learn as much as I can to have my e-commerce business booming. I found out that OptinMonster has a new feature that is Smart Tags.

Smart Tags are tags that help with a campaign that was created in OptinMonster. This feature shows visitor's name, the current day of the week by formatting the place holder text. When you create a campaign you customize the text by using smart tags.

1. Add or edit a text element in the campaign builder.
2. Select the { } curly braces button to choose a predefined Smart Tag.
3. Select the Smart Tag you want and it will be automatically added to the text field editor.
4. When you’re finished, Saved Changes.

Here is an example of a Smart Tag showing the visitor’s first name.

Date & Time Tags
{{day}}: The current day of the week
{{month}}: The current month (e.g. “January”)
{{year}}: The current year (e.g. “2019”)
{{date}}: The current date
