After you get your resume updated and your LinkedIn profile optimized, it is the time to start searhing for a job.
- Keep a job search log- When you start searching, you need to jot down in the log about the companies that you are searching for and when you submitted your resume. You can dowload the job search log here
- Follow up via phone-If you haven't heard from recruiters after 24 hours, then it will be the time to go back to your log and start calling to follow up if they have recieved your email. - Ask for business cards-If you have been invited for an interview, do not forget to get yourself prepared with this interview tips.
